Frauke Nitschke is Chief Counsel.
Ms. Nitschke joined ICSID in September 2003.
Prior to joining ICSID, she worked at the World Bank’s Inspection Panel in Washington, D.C. (2002 – 2003).
Ms. Nitschke holds law degrees from the Freie Universität Berlin (Staatsexamen), Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M.), and a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology focusing on Alternative Dispute Resolution from the FernUniversität Hagen. She is an accredited mediator and a fellow of the Weinstein JAMS International Fellowship Program. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and Washington, D.C.
Ms. Nitschke speaks English, French and German.
