In June 2026, ICSID issued a revised set of Model Clauses for Contracts, providing ready-to-use drafting language for parties seeking to submit disputes to ICSID. Designed for use in contracts between foreign investors and States or Regional Economic Integration Organizations (REIOs), including subdivisions of States and agencies of States or REIOs, the Model Clauses reflect ICSID’s expertise and the value of the ICSID framework for contract-based investment dispute resolution.
