The hearing on jurisdiction and the merits in Eli Lilly and Company v. Government of Canada is scheduled to take place before a three-member arbitral tribunal from Monday, May 30, 2016 through Thursday, June 9, 2016 (excluding Sunday, June 5, 2016), beginning each day at 9:00 a.m.

This case was initiated under Chapter Eleven of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules of 1976. It is administered by ICSID.

The parties have agreed to make the hearing open to the public, except for those parts involving confidential information. The hearing will be broadcast in English at the World Bank Main Complex Building (MC) in room MC 4-100 (4th Floor). The visitors entrance to the MC building is located at 700 18th Street, Washington, D.C. 20433 (on the corner of 18th and H Streets).

Members of the public wishing to attend are requested to contact Ms. Lamiss Al-Tashi of ICSID (laltashi@worldbank.org). All members of the public will be requested to provide their names and e-mail addresses in advance, in order to arrange for access to the broadcast room. Visitor passes will be issued upon presentation of a valid picture ID.
