The Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States (the ICSID Convention) was signed yesterday on behalf of Cape Verde by Her Excellency Maria de Fátima Lima da Veiga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cape Verde to the United States. The Ambassador was accompanied at the signing ceremony by Mr. Daniel Oliveira, Minister Counselor and Ms. Maria Semedo, First Secretary of the Embassy of Cape Verde in Washington, D.C. The signing ceremony was attended by World Bank and ICSID officials and staff.
