On March 11, 2016, ICSID entered into an Agreement on General Arrangements with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).  The Agreement was signed on behalf of ICSID by Ms. Meg Kinnear, Secretary-General of ICSID, and on behalf of ICC, by Mr. Andrea Carlevaris, Secretary-General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and Director of the ICC Dispute Resolution Services.

The Agreement is based on Article 63 of the ICSID Convention and formalizes a long-standing collaborative relationship between the two organizations in sharing hearing facilities. ICSID and the ICC are continuing to discuss future opportunities to work together on bringing better and more cost effective services to users.

The Agreement also promotes cooperation and knowledge sharing between ICSID and the ICC about arbitration, conciliation, and other alternative methods of dispute resolution.
