The Secretary-General registers a request for the institution of arbitration proceedings. 

Following appointment by the Claimants, N. Fernando Piérola Castro (Peruvian/Swiss) accepts his appointment as arbitrator.

Following appointment by the Respondent, V. V. Veeder (British) accepts his appointment as arbitrator.

Following appointment by agreement of the parties, Zachary Douglas (Australian) accepts his appointment as presiding arbitrator.

The Tribunal is constituted in accordance with Article 37(2)(b) of the ICSID Convention. Its members are: Zachary Douglas (Australian), President, appointed by agreement of the parties; N. Fernando Piérola Castro (Peruvian/Swiss), appointed by the Claimants; and V.V. Veeder (British), appointed by the Respondent.
