Webinar: Introduction to Investor-State Mediation

On January 26, 2021, the Investment Treaty Arbitration Committee (ITAC) of the Japan Association of Arbitrators (JAA) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) hosted a webinar titled “Introduction to Investor-State Mediation”.

The webinar started with introductory remarks by representatives of the JAA ITA. Frauke Nitschke (ICSID) provided an update on current developments in investor-State mediation, including ICSID’s mediation rules. She also provided insight into ICSID’s continued efforts at promoting investment mediation. Geraldine Fischer (ICSID) moderated the Q&A session.
