The ICSID Secretariat will offer a one-day course on practice and procedure in ICSID Convention arbitration. Secretary-General Meg Kinnear and Team Leader/Legal Counsel Martina Polasek will guide the participants through the workings of the ICSID system at each stage of an arbitration proceeding. The course will assist anyone interested in ICSID arbitration who has not yet gained substantial experience in the field. It presents a unique insight into the work of the ICSID Secretariat, and helps government officials, private sector counsel and arbitrators to better understand and anticipate procedural steps. Course materials include the overview presentation, the ICSID Convention and rules, case statistics and other practical information.
To register, please fill out the registration form. Government officials will be given preference if the number of registrants exceed the available space.
