ICSID has since the early 1970s collected the texts of bilateral investment treaties. Most of these texts have been included in the Centre’s multivolume collection of Investment Treaties. Previously, lists of bilateral investment treaties were published by the Centre in 1989, 1992 and 1996.

This database contains information on all the bilateral investment treaties collected by ICSID to date. The information is organized alphabetically by signatory, and may be further searched by selecting two specific States or the year of signature.

The data, which is not conclusive, is based on information provided to ICSID by governments.
