Haiti Ratifies the ICSID Convention

On October 27, 2009, Haiti deposited with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the World Bank) an Instrument of Ratification of the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States (the ICSID Convention).

Pursuant to Article 75 of the ICSID Convention, the World Bank has notified all ICSID Convention signatory States of Haiti's ratification.

In accordance with its Article 68(2), the Convention will enter into force for Haiti on November 26, 2009.
