New Schedule of Fees

ICSID has recently revised its Schedule of Fees. The new Schedule of Fees will become effective on January 1, 2008.

The Centre’s administrative charge will increase from US$10,000 to US$20,000. This is the charge levied on a case following the constitution of the conciliation commission, arbitral tribunal, or ad hoc committee, and annually thereafter. The increase will apply immediately to all cases instituted after January 1, 2008. For cases instituted prior to that date, the current administrative charge of US$10,000 will continue to apply until January 1, 2009.

The Centre will also reintroduce the fee it once charged the parties for the Centre’s legal staff to attend meetings held away from the seat of ICSID in Washington, D.C. This fee has been set at US$1,500 per day of meetings.
